Description	Liproxstatin-1 is a potent inhibitor of ferroptosis, a non-apoptotic form of cell death characterized by iron-dependent accumulation of lethal lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS). Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic form of cell death induced by small molecules in specific tumour types, and in engineered cells overexpressing oncogenic RAS.
