Lane 1: Mouse heart lysates; Lane 2: Mouse kidney lysates; Lane 3: Mouse liver lysates probed with OPG Polyclonal Antibody (bs-0431R) at 1:300 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by a conjugated secondary antibody at 1:20000 for 90 min at 37˚C.

Lane 1: Mouse heart lysates; Lane 2: Mouse kidney lysates; Lane 3: Mouse liver lysates probed with OPG Polyclonal Antibody (bs-0431R) at 1:300 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by a conjugated secondary antibody at 1:20000 for 90 min at 37˚C.

Lane 1: Human Raji cell lysates; Lane 2: Human U251 cell lysates probed with OPG Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0431R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.

Lane 1: Human Raji cell lysates; Lane 2: Human U251 cell lysates probed with OPG Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0431R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.

Background	Acts as decoy receptor for TNFSF11/RANKL and thereby neutralizes its function in osteoclastogenesis. Inhibits the activation of osteoclasts and promotes osteoclast apoptosis in vitro. Bone homeostasis seems to depend on the local ratio between TNFSF11 and TNFRSF11B. May also play a role in preventing arterial calcification. May act as decoy receptor for TNFSF1/TRAIL and protect against apoptosis. TNFSF1/TRAIL binding blocks the inhibition of osteoclastogenesis.
